Hello Everyone, I am trying to compose a team, primarily of firefighters, to participate in the 2008 Komen Race for the Cure. The race is June 14th at Meredith College. Team registration must be completed online by May 27th, or, you can register as an individual and still compete with the team. We will be offering team shirts for $10. The name of our team is Team Triple F (Triple F stands for Firefighters, Family and Friends). Just as our name states we are not only looking for firefighters, but their family and friends as well. There is a completive 5K race at 0700 for $30 and a 5K walk at 0900 for $25 we have people signed up for both categories already. My wife will be walking with our son in his stroller in the 5k walk component. We want to encourage everyone who can and will to jump in and participate in a fun event for a worthy cause – curing breast cancer!
