And once again, where’s the PPE?!?!?!  And everybody wonders why NC is leading the nation in FF LODD!!!!!! Could it be the lack of training, or stupid stunts like this.  Dont know if it’s a cop or a FF, but whoever it is, they need to be reminded of why we have PPE!!!!!

What’s up with the guy in the yard with a hose and no PPE?

We have posted an updated list of fire rescue radios on-line.

Louis,
We were not much more than kids when I first joined the department in 84, and I was so excited to know you were still around when I came back this year.
Keep an eye on us from up there little buddy and you better have lunch ready when we see you again.

Lou - You are more than my best friend, and more than my brother.  You have been my concious and my inspiration for more than 15 years. I have learned so much under your guidance, about myself and the fire service.  You were with me for so many milestones, and I watched you achieve many of your own.  Thank you, brother, for being everything you are to me - now and always.  I miss my best friend, brother, teacher, mentor, partner, Godfather to our children, and one of the greatest men I’ve ever had the privilege to know.

Stephen Russell
Lt./Parkwood VFD
