"In the heart of the Tar Heel state --
situated in the Capitol County of Wake, is a band which virtually
appeared from nowhere and in short order has established themselves
as a serious Public Safety Band..." -
Fire
Pipes & Drums. This duly-constituted public safety
organization, the Wake & District Public Safety Pipes and Drums
(the )
is a growing band drawing membership from the entire public safety
service as well as members from the community.
The band is a tax exempt, non-profit organization under Federal

chosen a career to serve others.
Our mission is to provide a distinguishing tribute to our fallen
comrades and to be in service to the family, friends and co-workers
of public safety employees of North Carolina. We desire to
strengthen relations between the protective services and the public
while preserving cultural heritage and enriching our community by
providing traditional Bagpipe and Drum music.
